Introduction

In May 2018, I purchased the TheraPlate, marking my initial foray into the world of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy. Priced at approximately $1,300, the TheraPlate offers a cost-effective entry point for those interested in the benefits of PEMF technology.

TheraPlate Overview

The TheraPlate can be used independently or with a chair for seated sessions. Designed primarily for rehabilitation, it is ideal for individuals recovering from injuries or undergoing prescribed rest due to other medical conditions. Users can stand, sit, or lie on the platform, which employs a dynamic 360˚ motion to stimulate rhythmic muscle contractions. This activity helps relax tissue, enhance muscle tone, and improve circulation—key elements in accelerating the body’s natural healing processes.

Therapeutic Benefits

Improved circulation plays a crucial role in healing and recovery. The TheraPlate supports a range of health benefits, including faster healing of soft-tissue injuries, enhanced coordination, and increased bone density. It is also used in conjunction with strength training and stretching exercises to maximize muscular engagement and flexibility.

How It Works

The TheraPlate features a free-floating platform that moves in a clockwise, circular motion, generating centrifugal G-force. This force travels through the bones and outwards to muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. The generated waves activate muscle stretch receptors, prompting involuntary contractions. These contractions act like a pump, boosting blood and lymphatic circulation. Over time, this activity encourages bone remodeling by stimulating bone-forming cells and inhibiting bone-degrading cells—all without impact.

What Sets the TheraPlate Apart

Unlike most Whole Body Vibration Therapy platforms, which primarily focus on physical fitness and often exert considerable impact on joints, the TheraPlate is engineered for rehabilitation. Its Vortex Wave technology delivers a zero-impact, continuous planar orbital motion that eliminates vertical compression and rocking. This ensures safer, more targeted treatment for a wide range of users.

Custom Treatment Protocols

The TheraPlate’s motion intensity can be adjusted to suit individual therapeutic needs, allowing for fully customized treatments. A variety of treatment protocols are available on our website and through our free app at www.theraplate.com. While some conditions may be incurable, the TheraPlate helps improve quality of life by providing consistent support and symptom relief.
